Matthew joined SMS in July 2005 as Director, Marketing. In conjunction with the executive leadership team, Matthew is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and implementing systems and processes that support the achievement of business objectives. This includes the execution of marketing campaigns, media relations, brand management and customer relationship management.
During 2006, Matthew delivered our first National Marketing Strategy, establishing a program of work designed to support the then five year corporate strategy. Under this plan Matthew and his team have delivered a range of strategic and tactical initiatives driving the company’s brand, demand generation and client acquisition strategies in each of our regional offices.
Throughout his time with SMS, Matthew has played a key role in the development of our Practices and the associated solutions and capabilities that we take to market. Matthew has also been instrumental in driving the adoption of rigorous sales and marketing automation systems and processes across the SMS sales organisation resulting in improved sales and client retention.
Matthew is a member of the Asia-Pacific Professional Services Marketing Association (APSMA) and has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE).
