Trevor Townsend
National Practice Director, SI
Trevor joined SMS Management & Technology (SMS) in November 2009 as National Practice Director, Systems Integration. He is responsible for the successful operation of the Systems Integration practice, including sales, delivery and financial performance of the practice nationally.
With over 22 years experience as a sales and management professional within the information technology sector, Trevor has a proven track record of developing new business ventures, including building dynamic and motivated sales and delivery teams to achieve outstanding results.
Prior to joining SMS, Trevor was an Executive Director as AIPEX, where he successfully built the business to represent Australia’s largest special TIBCO integration partner.
Since joining SMS, Trevor has successfully integrated the AIPEX business and has broadened the scope of solutions offered and continued to grow our strong capability. He has also developed and strengthen our alliances program with tier one integration product vendors including IBM, Oracle and TIBCO.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Business degree from RMIT University, majoring in Economics and Business Management, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Computing from Deakin University. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
