Amanda joined SMS in May 2005 as a consultant within the Technology Services Division. Amanda has a breadth of industry experience ranging from investment management and banking to ICT and energy. She is skilled in business analysis and design, technical development, system testing and team leading. Since joining SMS, Amanda has been involved in several large data migration projects, further expanding her business analysis skills.

Amanda’s SMS career highlights include:

• She was involved in a credit risk historical data validation exercise, which greatly assisted a major bank being accepted for the Advanced Approach to Basel II.
• To-date, she has received three achievement awards from her client engagements.
• On her most recent engagement, she performed in-depth system analysis of an un-supported system enabling migration to occur when three previous attempts by the client had failed to do this.

Background

With a Bachelor of Information Systems from Melbourne University, Amanda has spent her entire career as a technology consultant. She has nearly ten years experience and has worked on projects across all the phases of the software development lifecycle. She has worked on several large Business Transformation and Greenfield projects for major organisations within Australia.
