Why did you choose to apply to SMS and your practice?

I enjoy change and new challenges. SMS provides me access to not only a wide variety of clients across a range of disciplines, but also a multitude of roles with the support required to transition from one to another. Each engagement is different from the last and therefore bring new skills to learn, hurdles to jump and milestones to achieve.
 
I believe a vast amount SMS’s knowledge is inbuilt into their people and therefore not only am I learning and expanding my capabilities from the engagement that I am on but also from the people around me.


How would you describe the work you do in not so technical terms?

A Consulting approach – support the client at all time to achieve the best outcomes.       

Highly analytical and challenging – you need to always have your thinking cap on to continuously achieve outcomes while managing issues and risks.

Interactive – you need to acknowledge that if you don’t know it someone else may, and therefore you need to work collaboratively with a wide array of people to meet targets. Interacting with numerous other people to derive a solution is in itself an accomplishment.


 
What has been the most interesting project you have been involved in?

The Telstra TEG Systems Enablement Team.
Working in a project team where you are the middle man between technology and the Business requires you to at all times strive to understand, communicate effectively with and collaborate with each party despite an ever-changing and challenging project landscape.
