Position Description

Through the combination of the recent acquisition of Information Management and Business Intelligence specialist, Pelion, and the existing data management capabilities at SMS, has enabled SMS to build a high calibre Information & Data Management (IDM) practice.
 
New roles exist for strong Business Intelligence Consultants with a breadth of project experience across complex solutions to join our growing team. 
 
Successful candidates will be adaptable with solid core skills and the ability to work across a range of Business Intelligence tools and technologies including:
 
  • Microsoft BI
  • Oracle BI & Hyperion
  • IBM Cognos BI and TM1
  • SAP Business Objects
  • SAS
  • Microstrategy
 
You will have demonstrated Strategy, Analysis, Design or Implementation strength in one OR more of the following core skills:
 
  • Business Intelligence
  • Performance Management
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Spatial Intelligence
 
Other desirable skills include:
 
  • Information Management
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS and related technologies
  • Complex SQL and SQL Optimisation
  • Data Modelling and Architecture principles
  • Data warehousing and ETL
  • Data Quality (Profiling, Root Cause Analysis, Remediation)
