Position Description

The SMS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Practice is focused on helping organisations deliver and implement customer centric strategies within their business. We do this by implementing best-in-class CRM solutions for our customers. Currently, we have a core speciality with Oracle Siebel CRM, with plans to broaden our offerings with solutions from different vendors in the future. We are currently expanding our Consultant base and have permanent opportunities available for an experienced CRM consultant to join our team in Canberra.

 
You will work with our clients in their CRM initiatives, to understand their business, analyse their business requirements and detail the functional requirements, whilst ensuring successful CRM systems are implemented. As well as liaising and working with all levels of the clients business, you will work to assist in developing a core CRM competency within the Federal Government market (ACT) for SMS.


Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to scope projects, develop business cases, document business requirements, develop functional designs, complete gap analysis and complete system testing for CRM projects
  • Production of clear, detailed, design documentation to be used by technical consultants to build CRM solutions
  • Lead workshops and conduct meetings with client and technical staff to determine business requirements, system requirements, functional requirements, as is and to be processes
  • Lead and advise clients on change management and provide documentation as required 
  • Liaise with prospects and clients to develop relationships, identify opportunities and assist with pre-sales activities related to CRM projects
  • Take an active role in the development and leadership of the CRM competency in the ACT region
Core capabilities
  • Solid BA experience with extensive knowledge of CRM solutions including the Oracle Siebel product set 
  • Participated in a functional capacity through the full project life cycle of at least two Siebel CRM implementations
  • Good working knowledge of at least two industries (including Government) and the ability to understand a new business quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to leverage these skills to create new relationships
  • Ability to lead and mentor staff
  • Strong knowledge of system and database concepts and the ability to produce easy to implement CRM solution designs.
