Position Description |
SMS Management & Technology (SMS) [ASX:SMX] is Australia’s leading consulting, technology and systems integration company employing over 1200 professionals nationally.
We have a strong capability in the .Net space and have a new opening for a strong Microsoft Consultant. As a result a strong Consultant you will have a breadth of project experience across complex solutions using SharePoint technologies.
The successful candidate will possess solid experience in analysis, design, development and testing of enterprise-grade .Net applications, including sound technical skills in a number of the following technologies:
- NET 1.1/2.0/3.0, C#/VB
- ASP.NET and related web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
- Web Services (e.g. SOAP)
- Database design (e.g. Oracle PL/SQL and Stored Procedures; or strong SQL Server) Development best practices and SDLC (design patterns, test driven development, continuous integration)
- Exposure to a range of Microsoft technologies such as Biztalk 2006 and SharePoint 2007/10
- Experience using standard software development tools (e.g. Source Safe, Trac/Jira/Bugzilla, Visual Studio 2003/2005 etc)
You are a nimble minded Technical Consultant, a high achiever who thrives on analysis and design through to development and delivery. You will be a core individual to projects and enjoy the chance to work with multiple stakeholders across a breadth of industries. Your ideal role is to utilise your technical skills whilst engaging customers by understanding their business needs. You will deliver this by using your proven analysis, design and development capabilities to new and existing systems and enhancements.
