Position Description |
SMS Management & Technology (SMS) [ASX:SMX] is Australia’s leading consulting, technology and systems integration company employing over 1200 professionals nationally. The company is experiencing an unprecedented demand for its services and actively recruiting across all Australian offices.
Due to anticipated growth we are currently seeking Java and Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) developers to join our SA based team. Successful candidates will require experience across the entire Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, design, development and testing of Java applications as well as extensive Eclipse RCP experience. Ideally candidates will have demonstrated technical skills in some of the following areas:
- J2SE 5 SWT and JFace User Interface Development
- J2EE 5 Development (e.g. JMS, Web Beans)
- JDBC and Database DevelopmentExposure to development best practices such as design patterns, test driven development, continuous integration
- Experience using requirements tools such as DOORS, RequisitePro, CORE
- Experience using standard software development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Netbeans, IntelliJ, Trac, Jira, Bugzilla, etc)
- Experience using other development technologies (e.g. .NET) would be highly regarded
