Position Description
SMS’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Practice is a leading specialist Oracle Siebel solutions consultancy in Australia.  We are currently expanding our Consultant base and have permanent opportunities available for experienced Oracle BI consultants. 
 
You will work on Oracle BI/DW projects from the initial design and discovery phase through the project implementation and support. You will work to define, design and enable the production implementation of leading-edge business intelligence solutions using the Oracle BI tools.
 
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: 
  • Provide input into and produce Solution & Technical designs and be actively involved in the design, development and hands on support of OBI projects
  • Manage the installation of the OBIEE application suite (along with all components of OBI Apps, DAC, Informatica & their configuration) and other related components across various environments as applicable.
  • Possess strong OBIEE Repository design and development capabilities
  • Experience in creating reports and dashboards with an understanding of user interface issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of OBIEE Pre built Analytics Applications
  • Possess strong background in Data Warehouse design with a comprehension of data modelling challenges associated with Star Schemas or Snowflake s
  • Design and Develop mappings, workflows and maplets using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Experience with Universal Adapter to import external data sources
  • Understand the DAC and manage Informatica execution plans
  • Understanding of Oracle BI Applications (OBA) schemas
  • Team leadership experience (for the Senior Consultant role)
 
Along with your proven technical ability you will be a passionate and highly motivated individual with customer facing consulting abilities, who has proven experience translating complex business requirements into technical solutions.
