Peter has experience as a management consultant, enterprise architect and project manager with ten years experience in delivering complex business initiatives, large IT projects, small mergers and acquisitions, e-commerce, business systems and organisational change projects in the Government, banking and finance, IT and professional services industries.

Peter’s career highlights include:

• Working on one of Queensland’s largest Enterprise Architecture engagements for a large State Government department that was implementing a transformational ICT Strategy
• Leading a large Enterprise Architecture engagement for another major State Government department that was looking to improve its state-wide ICT service delivery
• Travelling to Mt Isa to help an international mining company realise project benefits following a major technology implementation
• Having had the opportunity to work for a major bank, two international mining companies, a national rail transport provider, a construction company and two very large state Government departments in just under two years
   

Background

Peter has over 10 years of project management and team leadership experience working across a number of industries and companies. His most recent role was as a Project Manager for Suncorp, where he was responsible for managing complex projects valued over $5m. Peter joined SMS in Brisbane in January 2008 and has worked across a number of industries since commencing. Peter is currently working with an international mining firm on a project management capability uplift engagement across mining growth and sustaining projects valued over $100m.
